Liza and Ivie making summer last!

Monday, September 5, 2011

The boys played with Christian's balloons for a looooooong time this morning. Dane would run around the driveway, leading his balloon far above him (we put extra long strings on them) and Jones and Christian would chase him as fast as they could, trying to catch the trailing balloon string.

There's that smile with a new hole in the front! The tooth fairy brought some coins and a nice note in a tiny treasure box last night; so exciting! Jonah's favorite part of his ride tonight was when the sprinklers came on and he zoomed right through them. We love this gem of a track at Justice's school, Orchard Elementary!

Dane had such a good time biking out his energy tonight! This is a shot of him almost running over his mudder!! Aaahhhhhhh!!!!!

There goes Christian! His little legs took him around and around and around the track! He loved riding through the field sprinklers; as he took his helmet off he told us there wad "so much sweat" making his head wet! We think the sprinklers might have had something to do with that sweat...

Liza switched from her bike to her motorcycle after she had ridden about a mile and a half on it, so she also or a good dose of exercise. Kev and I loved watching her zoom around the track on this motor, though - serious fun!
Liza came home from church yesterday telling us that she had asked a girl who doesn't have very many friends if she could play today. The first thing after jobs this morning, Liza called the girl and they have been together all day having a good time. I have a lot to learn from little Liza; she is setting an amazingly young example of compassion and love for everyone in our home. It reminds me of a time in kindergarten when Liza played at recess with someone who didn't have any friends; the friend she is with today isn't the first she has reached out to, and something tells me she won't be her last. Go liza go!
