Thank you, Mom!

Not only does Abba open her pool to the little swimmers for lessons, she helps keep the kids (who have finished their lessons) content with toys, games and books in the house!

Christian's First Swimming Lesson!

He was so cooperative and did a great job blowing bubbles, floating on his back, and practicing his strokes. He loves Drea and she is so sweet with him and all of the kids! Goooooo swimmers!

Abba has her art room all stocked up for the grandkids to get creative in while it's their time to wait for other swimmers having lessons! After swimming over 30 laps, Ivie and Liza painted frogs this afternoon and had a ball!

My View

Liza and Kev went on a daddy-daughter date tonight so it was simultaneously mommy-son time! Jonah and Christian and I played on the tramp for a long time. They chased and tackled me over and over! Back inside, Dane and I drew angler fish, this week's study topic.

Sunday Afternoon with Christian

Wills surprised me today with his knowledge of the sounds that each letter makes. We spent a good chunk of the afternoon with him sounding out, then typing words on the computer. Then we read books about letter sounds...he loves it when I tell him "How did you know that? You are supposed to be 3, not 10! No more knowing sooooo much!" and I tickle him!

Girlie Time

Liza and I got to spend the morning shopping together! We hit Fashion Place and Gateway, stopping briefly for a sushi bite at Happy Sumo. Clearly, I decided AGAINST this hat.

What a Night!

We got to spend our evening with our Maack family....it was an extra special night because two of Judy's cousins were with us from out if town-Hal from Seattle and Phil from St. George. We had a fabulous time BBQ-ing and swimming!

American Girls

For kicks, Liza got her American Girl doll collection out! We had fun dressing them, doing their hair, and matching them up with their correct accessories!

Mom Quizzing Jonah

Jones loved sitting with me in the library reading and answering kindergarten-level quiz cards. We had such a good time and he is a wiz!

Kev Fathering on Fathers Day!

Eggs Benedict, balloons, slow cooked pork tortilla wraps, primary kids singing dad songs at church, gifts from our little people and time with the kids....We are so thankful that he is the father in our home so hopefully he had a nice day!
