Our traditional Bees game was even more of a hit this year since the boys have all been playing baseball with Justice and this spring. Up until this year, the bee mascot has been the hit of the night, but this year the game itself actually held their attention!

Grammy took Liza out for a fantastic night on the town! They went to dinner and saw Wicked - Liza left all smiles and came home all smiles!

Football practice - sit-ups, push-ups, burpees, running in place...phew!

Kevin got Dane and Jonah all signed up and suited up for football! They have been wanting to play for months and were so excited to make it official!

The boys have gotten to spend some great time with Justice this summer; after golfing, they hit the pool! Love summer!

Funny girls at Papa and Abbas

Driving range! Living near the golf course has it's advantages...we were the only golfers there under the overcast sky.

I think this is such a cute shot of Will learning sudoku; he is getting it down!

Liza making Lion House rolls; she did a fantastic job and our house smelled like fresh bread all afternoon :)

Liza chose Nielsen's for family fun - Oreo was a HIT!

Cute girls making "cake cups"...ice cream cones filled with cake batter that they then baked, frosted and decorated. So cute!

I set a personal record in the 1/2 marathon that I ran today by running a sub-2!

Kev and I took the boys to the Bountiful 24th parade and the fireworks afterward! The boys were so thoughtful, giving candy to kids around them who didn't get quite as much as they did. It's amazing to watch them learn to look outside of themselves so willingly. Liza was at the same parade and fireworks, bit with her friends. We missed her, but knew she was having a great time too!

Sweet boys at home

These funny girls had a hilarious time biting in to juicy watermelon and letting the water drool out of their mouths!

Clever shot by Liza and friends

Liza and Addie ran 9.4 miles the other night! That's not a typo-nine miles and some change!! Liza's knees and feet hurt a little bit but other than that she wasn't even sore the next day. Way to go, athletes!!

While Liza baby sat tonight, the boys and I had a riot at the golf course doing everything BUT golfing! We drove the entire course, which was stunningly beautiful at sunset, with the boys running parts of the course alongside the cart! Another amazing North Salt Lake evening!

Spending a day at the lake with our cousins was a definite summer highlight! The kids had a blast rowing, swimming, building sandcastles and learning to paddleboard! Kate and I love pulling off fun days like this with our families together...we can't wait to go again soon.

Chocolate chip cookies, anyone!?

Each week this summer, we are highlighting a value and focusing on it..This was courage week and Will totally exemplified that when he manned UP for a shot he had to get for first grade! He was a little bit nervous but didn't cower at all. The twins were so sweet with him after he got his shot; they both offered to carry him down to the car, and both told him how tough he was. This is Dane trying to pick Will up and give him a ride to the car - after Jonah had just offered also. So sweet!

Will and Jamo

Trail runners

Is this for real? Will, age 6

Jumping at Abbas!

Even better than that brilliant sunset is that brilliant dad of mine...he is the best!

There is nothing like a summer night in the canyon with people you Iove - lucky me!
