Four sledders! The hike up the hill was killer! Sledding combined with Saturday jobs made for some very tired kids (and one dog) tonight.

On our way to the U of U Womens Gymnastics meet! The kids got their faces painted, gave Swoop hugs, sat in the front row by the bars (thanks to Mom and Dad) and had a great time cheering on the Ute gymnasts!

He even got to groom Lichie after their ride!

Christian chose a horseback riding lesson for his special date with Mom! His teacher, Susie, was so sweet and kind. His horse, Lichie, was also fabulous. Susie taught Christian how to make a Lichie go (kick its sides) and stop (say whoa) and Christian was so great at both! We had a great time and plan to go back for more horseback fun soon!

Museum of Natural History

We had such a great time with Judy, Bradley, Alex and the kids today at the new Museum of Natural History. Highlights included dinosaur skeletons, live tarantulas, a live ant colony, a wet and muddy erosion hands-on exhibit, treats from the gift shop from Grammy, and mostly just being together. Charlie had been asking for " my cousins" all morning! One of the sweetest parts of the day was when Charlie asked Dane to " hold my hand" so he could walk across a glass floor and still feel secure. Dane was happy to oblige and carefully walked Charlie across the scary part. These kids all really love each other!

The boys also loved Owl Forest at the aviary. I think they were more fascinated with the dead mice (owl food) than with the birds themselves! Boys will be boys :)

We had the aviary to ourselves yesterday afternoon! After a private bird show, we got to feed these little guys apples; Christian has been asking me to do this again for months and was totally delighted!

Leaving the twins kindergarten bday celebration today, I looked whine me to find Christian and there he was holding the door for all of the kindergartners to come out to carpool!
The littlest one of all was hello g all of the big kids! Go Christian!
